A mexican jay found at the bottom of the grand canyon's bright angel trail. A damselfly I found posing cutely on a leaf not far from the mexican jay. On my trip to Sequoia National Park the chipmunks were my white whales, always scurrying about but never leaving any oppurtunities for a good pic. I like the pose in this one but it's a bit noisy. I almost left without any good 'munk pics, but this pondering fellow gave me one I was satisfied with. Brazos bend was chock full of awesome birds, but the gators were the coolest. This one was chilling on the mudbank and let me get the closest shot of the day. A portrait of Raccoon, a stray cat I've befriended.
